Project-Based Learning
We help students to develop real-world passion projects & businesses, enabling them to gain real-world experience, skills & connections.
Learning feels fun, natural & purposeful when it serves a project that you care about. You learn what you need, when you actually need to learn it.
Real-World Teaching
We teach students the fundamentals for success in the AI age, through a structured curriculum of key programme areas.
These programme areas are Personal Development, Maths & English (where needed), Communication & People Skills, Entrepreneurship, Technology & AI.

Technology & AI
We introduce students to the latest AI tools & technologies, showing them how to leverage technology to accelerate their projects & build the future. What new technologies are emerging and how can you use them to power your projects & career?
Entrepreneurship
We teach our students the history of entrepreneurship, the modern landscape & terminology, and the fundamental, timeless principles of successful entrepreneurship which still hold true today.
Communication & People Skills
We teach & coach our students on how to hold & convey themselves & their ideas, speak publicly, create & maintain relationships, and navigate social situations. This "political" skillset is crucial for overall life success.
Personal Development
Who are you? What do you care about? What is your purpose? What does a successful life look like for you? What is your strategy to create it? How do your daily habits & practices shape it? These are the most important questions, so we start with them first. Personal Development forms the foundation upon which everything else is built.
A different kind of education
Most sessions take place online, although some may be in-person.
1-to-1 Sessions with Expert Guides
Regular, one-to-one sessions with one of our core Guides - a real-world expert with a broad grounding & experience in the Sangha Academy programme areas (instead of a host of academic teachers with a narrow focus on certain traditional subjects).
Modern Collaboration & Mentorship
These one-to-one sessions combine the best elements of modern co-working & collaboration, direct instruction, imparting knowledge, coaching key skills, mentorship, and inspiration.
Hyper-Personalised Approach
This hyper-personalised approach enables the Student and their Guide to really get to know each other well quite quickly, which in turn means the programme can be customised according to the evolving needs of the student. This feedback loop accelerates the student's progress.
Real-World Exposure
Once the Guide has a good understanding of their Student and what they need, we then bring in additional expertise & experience to supplement & support. For example, guest speakers, field trips, specialist coaching, work experience, apprenticeships with relevant real-world experts etc.

We help students make & execute a realistic plan for bringing their project into the world. We support them by giving feedback & direction, and connecting them with the information, resources & connections (e.g. real-world experts in the same field) to accelerate their progress.

Who are we?
Ashvir Sangha
HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS
Ashvir was Head Boy at King Edward's School before studying History & Politics at Oxford University, where he was elected President of the Oxford Union. Alongside his brother Sunny, he has personally advised hundreds of students & parents around the world to successfully navigate their way through the educational journey of school, exams, summer courses, work experience and university applications. Ashvir has also previously served as Communications Adviser to Former CEO of John Lewis & Mayor of the West Midlands Sir Andy Street. He brings a wealth of high-level connections & warm relationships to support & accelerate the progress of our students.
Sunny Sangha
HEAD OF STUDENT SUCCESS
Sunny won an academic scholarship to attend King Edward's School, where he achieved the best exam results in the whole UK for his year group, including 4 "top candidate awards". He went on to attend Cambridge University and since then, has undertaken extensive training in diverse fields, from yoga & meditation, to entrepreneurship, software design, community-organising, political campaigning and movement-building. Sunny once gave a TEDx talk on the future of democracy while working on political reform, and serves as a Director of the charity MakeSoil - the world's largest composting network. He pours his heart into ensuring great success for each student.
Zach Caceres
HEAD OF AI & TECHNOLOGY
Zach is a software engineer, technology entrepreneur, and early practitioner of AI, who has written several influential software libraries (used by thousands of engineers) and articles since 2018. He has been a founding engineer or product leader at billion-dollar companies including Clay & Curology. He has also built Storetasker (the #1 Shopify talent marketplace), Clarity Schools (the #1 fintech suite for independent schools), and MakeSoil (the world's largest composting community). He has instructed tens of thousands of software engineers as co-creator of The Intuitive Coder course with world-renowned neuroscientist Barbara Oakley.
Despite leaving school at 15, he graduated with highest honours from New York University. At the age of 24, he was hired to run a highly innovative university course at one of the top universities in Central America. He has been featured & published in bestselling books & leading publications including Stripe's Works in Progress, a16z's Future.com, The Atlantic's CityLab, & Virgin.com Entrepreneur. Zach is also a leading player in the startup cities movement, where companies build & run entire neighbourhoods & cities.
Tom England
HEAD OF COMMUNICATION COACHING
Tom graduated from Cambridge University with a "triple first". He is an actor and theatre-maker who has starred in feature films, and forms part of the award-winning theatre company The Wardrobe Ensemble, with whom he has performed in the West End and across the UK. As a coach, he has supported students at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the Bristol School of Acting, as well as Sangha Academy. Tom coaches our students - applying the ancient art of stagecraft to develop their confidence, communication, social & interpersonal skills.
Chris Edwards
HEAD OF LEARNING VILLAGES
After graduating from Oxford University with a Double First, Chris taught in the UK and Brazil before becoming Headmaster of Bromsgrove School - one of the UK's largest independent schools. He went on to become the Head of the world's largest international school - the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore, and sat on the United World College International Board during a period in which they opened 4 new schools across Asia and Africa. He then became part of the Green School movement and served as founding CEO of Green School New Zealand, where he took the school through accreditation, appointed the first Head, and established the inaugural board. Aside from helping Sangha Academy create new full-time, in-person "learning villages", Chris also assists with progressive education projects in China and Europe, and interviews prospective Heads for international schools around the world.
